83rd Dartmoor Pony Society Championship Breed Show 2023
The 83rd Dartmoor Pony Society Championship Breed Show will be held on 13 August 2023 at The Lady Willingdon Field, Whiddon Down, Okehampton, Devon EX20 2QN.
The Show Schedule with Entry form is available on this website, see link below and can be submitted by post (details on entry form) or via email to dpssec @dartmoorponysociety.com. Entries can be made online through the following link – www.dartmoorps.lite.events and stabling is available locally and on site. Please email email@example.com if you would like to book stabling. Stabling will be allocated on a distance from show field basis and bookings close on Monday 24th July.
There are several Qualifiers for Horse of Year Show; National Pony Society; and Veteran Horse Society.
The Breed show is open to both members and non-members, but all ponies must be Fully or Supplementary or Part-bred Registered Dartmoor Ponies.
We would welcome and encourage all members, whether you have recently become a member of the Dartmoor Pony Society, or are a longer time member, to join us at this year’s show.
Schedules will be sent to all 2021 and 2022 exhibitors.

Midland Dartmoor Pony Show
The inaugural Midland Dartmoor Pony Show will take place on Sunday 21st May 2023
at Solihull Riding Club, Four Ashes Road, Bentley Heath, Dorridge, Solihull, B93 8QE
as part of the NPS Area XI Show.

Entries will be open on Wednesday 1st March.
Onsite stabling can be booked directly with Solihull riding club.
All classes can be entered on the day.

The Dartmoor Pony Society awards Star Show Status to a maximum of 18 shows annually. The results of these shows are the basis for the Stallion of the Year, Mare of the Year, Youngster of the Year, and Sire of the Year.
In Star Show ridden classes the results count towards the Ridden Stallion, Mare and Gelding of the year awards.

Information from entry forms will be stored on a secure server and the name and address and details of entries will be published in the catalogue (if applicable). Information will be passed to our printers solely for the purpose of formulating the catalogue. Results information including photographs may be published (in printed form and online) both to the press, other societies, showing organisations and in the Society’s publications. Information may be supplied to DEFRA, trading standards and veterinary advisors if requested by them. The making of an entry is irrevocable consent for the storage and disclosure of information in this way.
