A Memorial Service for Mrs Scilla Harrison will be held at St Peter's Church, Knowle BH20 5NG on Wednesday July 18th, 2pm . Mrs Scilla Harrison bred Dartmoor ponies under the prefix "Plovers" and was an ex Press Secretary for the Society.

At Three Counties Showground in the gorgeous setting below the Malvern Hills Moortown crusader was once again awarded champion by judge, Mrs E Houghton, with Vean Set Sail as reserve. There was a splendid entry of Dartmoors before the judge.

Treworgan Showgirl placed Champion at Notts County with Hisley Precious Gift as Reserve.

Moortown stud take Champion and Reserve at Bath & West Show. Moortown Crusader triumphs again with Moortown Moonlight Magic as reserve.

Hisley Precious Gift, owned by Messrs D A J Hodge & J M Walters, won the Dartmoor Pony championship at Royal Cornwall. In addition Langworthy Swift Ghost also won the ridden Dartmoor, Exmoor & Shetland class and then took overall M&M ridden Championship
