Joyce bred the Newoak Ponies with her daughter, Jacky, alongside running a successful Riding School on the outskirts of Exeter. Joyce had an amazing eye for a horse/pony and was meticulous in her breeding selections and enjoyed following Newoak ponies in the show ring. An esteemed horsewoman, Joyce was a staunch supporter of the Dartmoor Pony Society from whom sincere condolences are sent to Jacky and Paul. A Celebration of Life for Joyce Newbery is being held at Oakland’s Stables EX29JA on the 10th June at 2pm this will be open for anyone who would like to attend and pay respects. Joyce will be in attendance so make sure to keep your heals down and thumbs up!
