The DPS are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Tisha Roberts of the world renowned Hisley Stud and the most staunch supporter of the Society. Tisha was well known for her detailed record keeping of the Dartmoor Pony, along with her late sister, Ann Jones.

Tisha was dedicated to the DPS and the Dartmoor Pony and leaves a lasting impact through her contributions to various schemes still running in the Society today.

She will be fondly missed by all her friends and the DPS send condolences to her family.

The Funeral will take place at 3.00pm, Thursday 29 May 2025 at Canford Crematorium, Bristol, BS9 3PQ.
The official DPS representative will be the vice-chairman, Jacky Newbery. Any DPS member is welcome to attend, provided that you notify Chris by 24th May so that the family can be notified of numbers. 
It is hoped that there might be an informal get together for local friends and Dartmoor Ponies in the future but this is not certain.
