PROGRAMME AND SPEAKERS

Dales and Fell Ponies
Mr Peter Boustead is a renowned judge and breeder of Fell & Dales ponies and he has been judging both breeds for over thirty years. Peter will present a Power Point presentation on both breeds in the morning, followed by examining ponies in the afternoon.

The Dartmoor Pony
Mrs Madge Taylor is a renowned breeder of Dartmoor ponies (Langfield Stud) she is not only an A panel breed judge but also an NPS judge and in 2017 judged the M&M WHP at HOYS. She has an extensive knowledge of the breed and showing in hand and ridden to the highest standard. We are very lucky to have Mrs Taylor to come down and talk to us all.

The Exmoor Pony
Mrs Ann Nicholls has been ambassador of the Exmoor Pony for over thirty years, showing, judging and breeding Exmoor ponies in hand and ridden with great success at a very high level. Ann is not only on the Exmoor pony judges panel but the Dartmoor, Connemara and NPS M & M panel too. We look forward to gaining more knowledge on the Exmoor Pony.

The New Forest Pony
Ms Gill Wright is a New Forest pony person through and through and breeds the Burley Ponies. Gill is also a NPS judge like her mother and grandfather. Who better to give us a talk and presentation on the breed, followed by examining the ponies in the afternoon.
